Part of the Armed Forces pilots in Denmark is ready to start flight training on the F-16-Zaluzhny

According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, there are also agreements with the Danish side on the logistics, maintenance and repair of F-16 fighter jets in the territory of Ukraine. On Wednesday, August 30, the Commander -in -Chief of Defense forces Valery Zaluzhny said that some Ukrainian pilots in Denmark were ready to start flight training. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the commander-in-chief.

Zaluzhny noted that during a telephone conversation with the Chief of Defense of the Kingdom, Denmark, General Flemming Lentfer, discussed the long-term training of Ukrainian pilots and engineers on F-16 fighters. "General Lentfer has informed that some of our pilots have already successfully passed the preparatory measures and can start flight training," the publication reads.

Moreover, there are already agreements that provide for the issues of logistics, maintenance and repair of the F-16 in the territory of Ukraine. Zaluzhny thanked all the citizens and leadership of Denmark for the decision to hand over 19 F-16 fighters to Ukraine and support in the confrontation of the Russian aggressor. We will remind that six officers of the Air Force from the Poltava Brigade were killed on a combat assignment near Bakhmut.
