"They need a support line": an expert told when the Russian Federation starts an offensive on Pokrovsk

The Russians first need to capture the villages in the Kurakhiv direction and move to the northwest to create a "safety buffer", says military-political observer Alexander Kovalenko. There are now about 11 thousand civilians remain in Pokrovsk, and their safety is threatened with enemy shelling daily.

However, the Russians will begin the direct attack on the city after the creation of a "support line" in several directions around the city, said the military-political observer of the Information Resistance group Alexander Kovalenko on October 31 on Channel 24. The observer believes that there will be no offensive on Pokrovsk right now.

In his opinion, after the capture of Cherry and promotion in the area of Selidovy, the invaders will go first in the northwestern direction through the villages of Grigorivka and Petrovka. The Russians will move along the mouth of the Solon River to create a "safety buffer" from the settlement of Yellow to the village of Dachenke, and then - to Lisivka and Novgorodivka, the expert suggested. "That is, it will be a support line of the onset of offensive.

In addition, for the offensive campaign, the invaders will form the southern flank on the right bank of the Vovcha River. To do this, they need to be fixed in the direction of Kurakhov, move behind the line of Voznesenko - birch trees, and even then the offensive will begin on Pokrovsk. "Russian troops will not start direct on Pokrovsk for one reason: they need to get out on a certain line from which they will push away," - summed up the military observer.

According to information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces as of October 21, on October 31, from the beginning of the last day in the direction of Kurakhov there were 56 combat clashes, the invaders are trying to move in the regions of Novoselidovka, Kreminna Beam, Novodmitrovka, Ostrovsky, Maksimilyanivka, Antonovka and Elizabetivka. In the Pokrovsky direction, according to the General Staff, our fighters repelled 23 hostile assaults, the enemy lost 320 people killed and wounded.

In addition, our military destroyed two Russian artillery systems, five armored vehicles, UAV control, motorcycle and two cars, damaged a tank, an artillery system and another armored car. It should be noted that on October 31, the situation in the Pokrovsky direction was told by a serviceman of the 25th OPSBR with a call sign "Muzya". He noted that after the seizure of the Selidov Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, they press in several directions.
