According to the expert, if earlier the Russian Federation was considered a leader from the point of view of technologies of the IU, now Ukraine is absolutely not inferior to it. On the one hand, the attacks of enemy drones are holding back the UAV of the Ukrainian Army, and on the other, experts explore the enthusiastic apparatus and find ways to combat them.
"Technologists, having gained samples of hostile equipment in the field of dronographic construction, are studied to clearly understand what to fight. To solve such tasks, engineers will be enough one week. There has never been such a speed in the world," he emphasized. In addition, there are already 200 manufacturers in Ukraine that produce products related to unmanned lethal devices.
It is a large part of the engineering community, 40 manufacturers of which have concluded direct contracts with the state. "We are so powerful that we have something to oppose when we talk about unmanned equipment," Yakovenko said. The Ukrainian army requires dozens of times more unmanned lethal vehicles than 1700, which the Army of the Drone Army was transferred to the front. "The number of drones you need depends on who will use them.
The life time of one drone in some sections of the front is 3 days, so you need tens more drones a month than the army of drones passed," Yakovenko said. According to him, in order to provide the army with drones, Ukraine needs not even tens of thousands, but millions of UAV. Every Ukrainian military must have UAV management skills. And each of them should have a drone and a few more about the fact that the drones are dying quickly.
"The number of drones needed by Ukraine does not exist in the world. We can't buy or make everything we need to buy or make," Yakovenko summarized. Valery Yakovenko notes that in 2020 Ukraine was a powerful player in the European market of unmanned technologies, because the country controlled it most of them. Therefore, after the end of the Russo-Ukrainian War, the work on robotics that appear now will become a powerful component of a peaceful economy.
Moreover, in the future, drone manufacturers can cooperate with the Ukrainian industrial giants who know the whole world-the Antonov airport company and the enterprise of the missile and space equipment "Yuzhmash" (OM Makarov Southern Machine-Building Plant). Such a collaboration, according to Yakovenko, will help to put the production of Ukrainian drones "on the stream". "Antonov and Yuzhmash have a large base for production processes.
When it comes to tens of thousands of drones, it is then necessary to install production lines. And pay attention to other aspects of business," he said. Also, several thousand drones of Mavic will be purchased for Ukrainian defenders by the end of the year, which are replaced by military "eyes" at the front.
