Ukrainians who will be left without heat and light because of the attacks of the Russian Federation are evacuated - the Cabinet of Ministers

If the heat and light do not return to the apartments of Ukrainians after the Russian attacks for two days, they will have to relocate, said Prime Minister Schmigal. In the winter, Ukrainians will have to be evacuated if they are left without heating and electricity due to attacks by Russian troops on critical infrastructure. Prime Minister Denis Shmigal said this during a press conference on Wednesday, September 14.

"Undoubtedly, we do not reject if the enemy is treacherous and terrorist to break our infrastructure and the cities will be left without heat and light, when there is frost on the street, then, of course, we will use an element such as evacuation," said the head of the Ukrainian government. At the same time, the Prime Minister noted that the evacuation of the population will be carried out if Ukrainian energy is not able to restore the infrastructure for a short time.

Shmigal added that regional military administrations are already ready for the evacuation scenario of residents, and the corresponding plans have already been developed. According to the government algorithm, it is possible to evacuate people to restore communications for two days - if the work is not possible, people will be evacuated. The head of government also assured that in the autumn and winter, Ukraine will provide the necessary amount of fuel-according to him, today more than 13.

2 billion cubic meters of gas have been pumped in storage, and by October 1, there will be 14. 5-15 billion cubic meters there, including and including through international partners. The prime minister assured that although the heating season will be one of the most difficult, Ukraine will have enough gas for its stable passage and will be provided with coal. Also, according to Shmigal, Ukraine now has 2. 2 million tons of coal - these are the largest reserves in recent years.

By the heating season, the state will have 2. 5 million tons of fuel. In addition, according to the prime minister, the authorities are working on providing the material and technical base for the heating season: almost 1. 5 thousand mobile generators, dozens of reserve boilers, about 100 power plants, etc. have been purchased. It also continues to receive equipment from international partners as humanitarian aid.
