Buy and produce on your own: an Armed Forces requires a minimum of 3.6 million drones - Berlin (video)

According to the leader of the project Victory Drones Maria Berlin, Russia orders drones in China. The Kremlin is ready to spend billions of dollars a year. Ukraine needs to have more drones, given that Russia is making an order for billions of dollars in China. In addition, Russian engineers are ready to make a technological breakthrough, which will greatly enhance the capacity of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on the battlefield.

Maria Berlinskaya, a journalist Natalie Mosaychuk, spoke about the situation on the production and purchase of drones for the Ukrainian army. Berlin explained that Ukraine has two problems at once - both drones and ammunition production for them. The production of drones at home offered by the Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov will not provide the number of drones that the front needs.

In addition, in the Armed Forces, the minimum amount of ammunition that these drones could be dumped. According to the public figure, the number of "full -time ammunition is at the level of statistical error". According to indicative estimates, the defense forces will not have enough 1 million drones who promised Ukrainian government officials.

To prove this, Berlin made calculations in which the number of operators taught at the training center (2 thousand people) multiplied by 5 drones a day, which they could use on the front line and multiplied by 365 days a year. As a result, the Armed Forces needed at least about 3. 6 million drones to use them in the war. There is another opportunity to get drones - it is to buy them in China, reminded Berlin. However, in this direction, Ukrainian buyers cannot compete with Russia.

For example, Ukrainians order from manufacturers 500 pieces, 5 thousand units, 10 thousand units. UAVs, at the same time, Russians bring billion dollars to the Chinese and enter into an agreement for a year. "The state comes to the Russian, gives a billion or two conditionally, and says" We contract you a year ahead. "And the Chinese are much more profitable when they buy up entire lines. " The public figure also noted another problem.

In her opinion, Russian engineers are "on the verge of a technological breakthrough". She explained that the drones of the Russian Federation are equipped with thermal imaging chambers, which are able to come to the target through computer vision. That is, the device becomes more autonomous - the operator is only needed to lift it into the air. Ahead of new opportunities - the Russians will be able to run a swarm that will work without an algorithm operator.

"Reb, which we saturate the front, become ineffective. If it is launched in the series, it will be a problem," Berlin said. It should be noted that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukrainian soldiers will receive 1 million drones in 2024. After that, the Minister for Strategic Industry Alexander Kamyshin said that only FPV-punks meant, but other types of drones would be released.

On January 13, the digital transformation minister announced the launch of the program for ordinary Ukrainians: everyone was able to go through training and self -put a drone for the front. Radio technologies and communication expert Sergey Beskrestnov with the flash drive explained what problems this project can accompany the implementation.
