Women's mobilization in the Armed Forces in September: NSDC commented on Arestovich's "forecasts"

To extend: The general mobilization of women to the Armed Forces in Ukraine is not planned and there is no point in talking. The messages about the conscription of Ukrainian women to the army are launched by Russian special services through their agent and "speaking heads", said Andrey Kovalenko, the head of the Center for Combating Misinformation at the National Security Council.

According to him, all conversations about the mobilization of women do not make sense, since their conscription was not planned before and is not planned in the future. Thus, the head of the NSDC CDP commented on the conversation of Russian publicist Yulia Latinina and the former adviser to Presidential Office Alexei Arestovich, during which the latter predicted that the issue of women's mobilization in Ukraine could be raised in September. "I think that women will be mobilized in the fall.

But such campaigns usually last 2-3 months, so in September the question may be that women will call," Arestovich said, adding that, in his opinion, the conscription of women in Ukraine is inevitable because the Russians are quantitatively. In turn, the CPD head reminded that the former adviser to the President's office is under sanctions and his YouTube channel is blocked. "He works information in the interests of Rashka," Kovalenko said.

Latinina, he stressed, is part of the Kremlin's information machine, which works on a "liberal" public, and thus the FSB of the Russian Federation can influence this target audience. Recall that more than 70 thousand women serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As of March 2025, more than 5,500 servicemen were directly on the front line.
