Mobilization in Ukraine: In the Tax Code, what diseases were now taken into the army now

Speaker of the Poltava Regional Shopping Center and JV Major Roman Isomin explained that mobilization does not always mean departure to the front, and can be protected in the rear. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, according to Order No. 490 of August 18, 2023, lifted a restriction on determining the suitability for military service. At the same time, the provisions on military medical examination in the Armed Forces have changed.

The spokesman of the Poltava Regional Criminal Code and JV Major Roman Istomin told what diseases they can now mobilize and whether or not fully healthy people will be on the front line. He said this in an interview with a telegraph. "List of diseases [excluded from the list of grounds for delay], if I'm not mistaken, is painted on 400 pages . . .

But the decision on each case, for each individual person - for the VLK," - explained Roman Istomin, noting that the list of heavy was preserved diseases that serve as a basis for removal from military accounting.

In particular, the basis for deferral is no longer: according to the latest changes of regulatory documents, three categories of suitability for military service are defined: conclusions about limited suitability are made solely on the basis of the state of health of a particular person. After communicating with the conscript, his examination and submission of analyzes of the VLK concludes, on the basis of which the decree on his suitability, registration and possible mobilization are made.

Now, due to the change in the list of diseases, some conscripts will change the category from "unsuitable" to "limited". The conscript, recognized as limited, cannot perform any action. When issuing a conclusion, the Military Medical Commission indicates what the conscript is not suitable. "Someone, for example, is contraindicated to be in a closed space, and someone-in the open. Someone cannot dig a lot, and someone-to wear a bulletproof vest, because he has problems with his back.

And someone has a flat feet of the 3rd degree . . . This is a subtle approach ", - explained Istomin. Depending on the recommendations of the VLK, the conscript is sent to service in a unit where his health will not prevent him from performing his duties, and these responsibilities will not cause critical deterioration of his health. Istomin notes that in those units where the conscript requires good physical training and sophisticated loads are provided, they will not be limited to send.

That is, with the conclusion of the limited suitability of conscripts, the path is closed to the following army units: first of all, conscripts who have diseases that allow them to mobilize, will be sent to service in various military institutions, for warehouses, to serve the supply of the front, etc. "The army is not only an advanced. Therefore, a citizen can defend his homeland while in a conditional rear.
