Recognize the Russian: The CNS told how Google is playing propaganda (photo)

According to the underground coordinators, the State Media of the Russian Federation is much higher than the search system in the occupied territories than in the free ones. That is, algorithms are probably consciously spreading enemy resources. In the modern information world, private companies play an important role in spreading propaganda.

Although in Ukraine, when searching in Russian, Ukrainian media resources predominate, for example, in Crimea, the issuance of search results is almost similar to the location in the Russian Federation. This is stated in a study by the National Resistance Center. According to the underground coordinators, news search engineers in the temporarily occupied Crimea, Google's search algorithm proposes to read the propaganda "RIA-Novosti", "Lenta. ru" and others.

According to Google's keywords, there are about 60,000 news searches every month in Kherson region. According to the CNS, search for users in the Kherson region is different from the Crimea and the Russian Federation. In the top ten search results, Ukrainian news sites are presented. However, just below users are offered a group of Russian resources.

According to Google Keywords data in the occupied cities of the South and East of Ukraine, such as Berdyansk and Melitopol, many users are looking for in Ukrainian. "Of course, this is the best way to avoid Russian propaganda is not to use Russian in browser and search," the CNS said. However, according to the underground coordinators, Russian state media are much higher than Google to TT than in free territories.

"That is, the search engine algorithms, or recognize the Russian Federation, or Google consciously spreads enemy propaganda in the occupied territory," the statement said. We will remind, on January 11 at the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security reported that Russian resources spread the fake that in Ukraine it is allegedly impossible to make an appointment with a doctor without providing a military ticket.
