In Kharkiv, the Gastor made subordinates to dig trenches for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation - the SBU

According to the investigation, a resident of Kupyansk, who was an engineer of the main gas pipeline management, told the Russians, where they better mask their equipment, and also helped the invaders in the preparation of infrastructure objects of the region for the last year's heating season. Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) detained a collaborator in the territory of Kharkiv region, who previously held a leadership position during the occupation of this region.

This was reported on October 20 at the press center. The former engineer, who worked in Kupyansky management of main gas pipelines, was the detainee. According to the investigation, during the occupation of the city, he actively supported the occupying power and agreed to head the gas distribution enterprise created by the occupiers. In his "position" he forced his subordinates to dig trenches and organized the construction of defense structures for the occupation forces.

In addition, he prompted the Armed Forces of Russia, where you can mask military equipment and ammunition to it. The suspect also participated in the preparation of objects of occupation power and military groups for the heating season last year. After the release of Kupyansk from the occupation, the man tried to escape, hoping to avoid punishment for his actions. However, the SBU staff found its location and detention.

On the basis of the evidence collected, the security services of the Security Service announced him of the suspicion in accordance with Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (assistance to the aggressor state). He faces up to 12 years in prison. Currently, the issue of a precautionary measure about the detainee, including the possible detention, is being considered.
