Mobilization in July: Which of the persons with disabilities will call the Armed Forces

Persons who, after the start of a full -scale invasion, have a disability of group II or III, must undergo a second VLK. However, there are a number of categories of citizens who do not need to do it. During the mobilization in Ukraine, all military citizens from 18 to 60 can handle the summons in Ukraine. However, people who have a deferral will not call the Armed Forces, in particular, this applies to disabled people.

The Bachinsky and partners' advocate association spoke about cases where such men could get into service. According to Article 23 of the Law of Ukraine "On Mobilization Training and Mobilization", persons with disabilities have a deferral from the conscription. "The disability group does not specify the article, and therefore the disabled of the third group is not subject to mobilization in 2024," the statement said.

According to the Ukrainian legislation, the mobilization of persons with disabilities I, II, III groups is possible only at their own request. Yes, they can join the Armed Forces voluntarily under contract. Persons who were established disability of group II or III after February 24, 2022 must undergo re -medical commission. However, this does not apply to those: some persons with disabilities must be re -undergoing VLK. In addition, they need to update the military accounting data by July 16.
