RF weapons will strengthen the C-400 complex with the help of radar "Eensey" with a range up to 600 km (photo)

The most important feature of the new radar is 96l6-VP modules, which can be placed on farm towers up to 20 meters high. This makes it possible to place hidden C-400 on forest landscapes. The Russian Air Force plans to expand the functionality of its anti-aircraft missile complexes C-400 thanks to the 96L6-CC "Eensey", which was originally intended for the C-350 complex.

The production of the advanced Russian autonomous system of recognition of the goals "Eensey" was completed by the Concern "Diamond Antai". This was reported on March 11 by Bulgarian Militis. The creation of a new radar was known from a report on the visit of the head of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergei Shoig to the enterprise "Diamond-Antai".

The minister stated that the air defense complexes were tasked with identifying and destroying a wide range of threats, including drones and Himars systems. According to Russian sources, the Enisei station is intended for processing ballistic goals, and the connection with the C-400 complex is possible with the help of the automated system "Polyana-D4M1", which is intended for collecting, processing of radar information, notification of air conditions, management of regular forces. PPOs, etc.

RLS 96l6-CP is represented by two separate canvases of active headlights-receiving and radiating on the basis of Arsenide-Galicia NVC transistors and attenuators. Due to this, the system allegedly has ample opportunity to detect and accompany targets at a distance of up to 600 kilometers. The Eensey system works by radiation of radio waves that fall for potential purposes and reflect them on the radar.

The system processing unit analyzes these returned signals to determine the location, speed and direction of the target. Then, based on the characteristics of the returned signal, the system can determine the type of goal. After recognizing the radar, the radar can monitor its movement and provide information about its location and course in real time. Having received this information, the command and dispatching point coordinates the appropriate actions in response.

Experts say that the functions of the radar "Eenissa" are extremely important for the C-400 systems, which are often deployed in difficult combat conditions that change rapidly. Thus, during the war in Ukraine there were cases where Russian air defense systems inadvertently knocked down some of their own planes. Therefore, thanks to the autonomous C-400 identification system, it can increase the percentage of the lesion by focusing on the enemy's confirmed purposes.

96l6-CP stations have the most important technical detail, namely 96l6-VP modules, which can be placed on farm towers up to 20 meters high. This provides anti-aircraft missile batteries C-350, or C-400, the possibility of hidden combat duty on a forest landscape without the inclusion of active regimes of the central radar post 96l6-CP, as well as a multifunctional radar 50H6A.

Moreover, according to Russian developers, "Enisei" is able to identify ballistic goals with an effective scattering area (EPR) of 0. 05 square meters. m at a distance of 200 km. Theoretically, this means that at such a distance of radar is capable of sailing the American F-22, which, according to some reports, has an EPR of 0. 3 square meters. "Eensey" has another characteristic - the support of goals at an altitude of more than 100 km, which move at speeds up to 4800 m/s.
