The massive attack of drones on Crimea began around 23:00 on August 27: Air alarm was declared almost all over the occupied peninsula, local channels reported explosions and active work of air defense in Sevastopol, Evpatoria and Sakah. The Telegram-Channel "The Crimean Veter" informed about the sounds of explosions in the area of ​​the Saki military airfield, as well as about launches of air defense missiles from the complexes "Armond-C1".

At about 23:05, the sounds of explosions were also reported in the area of ​​the local airfield "Belbek". It is an air base in Sevastopol, which stopped servicing civil aviation after 2014 and which the Russian soldiers use for their own purposes. First, Russian monitoring resources wrote about at least 100 percussion UAVs in the direction of the Crimean Peninsula. Subsequently, according to their data, the number of drones increased twice.

The network also showed footage of night Crimea, where the sounds of explosions and air defense are heard. In the next hour, the explosions continued to be heard in the area of ​​Sevastopol, including Cape Lukull, as well as in the village of Guards Simferopol district. The Russians write that jet-UAVs are also recorded among drones-Kamikadze.
