Promised "risks": in the Russian Federation threatened in case of "grain agreement" without its participation
In a comment to the proposal of Ukraine and Turkey on the continuation of the "Grain Agreement" without the participation of Moscow, the Kremlin representative stressed the need to take into account the possible risks related to such a scenario. He stressed that if any agreements are concluded without Russia's participation, then these risks should be taken into account.
"There is certainly a question that needs commentary from our military, because it is about a zone that is directly close to the area of hostilities, and without appropriate security guarantees there are some risks," he said. When answering this question, the Kremlin representative noted that Russia cannot determine how much and which countries are ready to take on these risks.
Regarding the statement of US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, who called Russia's decision to leave the "grain agreement" with a dishonest, a spokesman for the Kremlin, Dmitry Peskov, stated that in this case, maybe the position of some European states should not be called, and this is not the guilt of the UN Secretary General Anthony Guterrish. "We appreciate the role of Mr. Guterrish in concluding this arrangement and highly appreciate Mr.
Guterrish's efforts in trying to convince European countries to fulfill those obligations they have taken on. Unfortunately, this has not happened. The word" unreasonable "is absolutely applicable to European countries ", - added Peskov. Also, according to Peskov, Putin is not going to communicate with Turkish President Erdogan about the "grain agreement".
We will remind that in the Russian Federation on the day of the explosion on the Crimean bridge declared the termination of the "grain agreement". The Kremlin will not extend the agreement that has expired today and it has actually been stopped. On July 17, it was reported that former President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev called after attack on the Crimean bridge to fight "terrorists".
