According to journalists, they talked with a representative of Ukrainian intelligence with the call sign "Detective". He told that drones are often attacked by fuel warehouses, logistics, ammunition depots and delivery routes of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. "We respond to the appeals of our brigades. They tell us that they know where Russian weapons are stored, but they are not able to impress it and ask us to help," he said.
Detective noted that most of his recent work was focused on aerodromes near the borders of Ukraine. He hinted that with the help of the Drone "the darkness" could be attacked and the "Solka" airfield in the Novgorod region. It should be noted that during this attack, a strategic bomber of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation TU-22M3 was hit.
The publication noted that Russia's great opportunities in air defense and radio electronic struggle force Ukrainian intelligence to carefully plan every UAV attack. Algorithms have already been developed, which, apparently, work well. As for "darkness", according to journalists, that UAV can carry a lot of explosives for several hundred kilometers. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation did not hide that the attack had occurred. The blow was recorded at the Salt Aerodrome, but the department declared one damaged aircraft. At least two bombers were damaged as a result of the fire. Then on August 22, the consequences of the UAV on the Salt Air Base were shown in satellite images.
