"Ukrainians have removed the inviolability from the Crimea." Israeli military expert - about the Armed Forces offensive in the south and the defense of the Russians

The offensive of the Ukrainian soldiers in the south is ongoing, although the Armed Forces refuse to comment on information about the released settlements because they are concerned with the fate of civilians. In an interview with Radio NV, the Israeli military expert, an officer of the reserve of the Israeli Defense Army Victor Verzner, said that he was known about the events in the south, and analyzed their course.

Video day-officially from the officials of the Armed Forces of Ukraine now all Ukrainians receive two main requests: first, if you are in the area of active fighting, take care of shelters, foods, water, medicines. Secondly, do not comment every step of the Armed Forces once again. Why are both of these requirements extremely important and must be observed? - First of all, Kherson is the topic closest to my heart, because I was born there, this is my homeland, my native land.

Therefore [August 29] is an important day for me. As for your question, the answer will be quite simple. Now the Ukrainian command must determine the basic and auxiliary efforts on the offensive in the south of Ukraine. The Russian command, accordingly, should respond to this offensive somehow. The later the Russians find out where the main strike of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be, the better it will be.

Therefore, let's wait: you do not need to comment every step, you only need to wait and pray for the Armed Forces that operate in this direction. - What are the main recommendations for civilians that remain in the area of active fighting? What can everyone do now to prepare if it's not too late? -If you live next to the location of the Russian troops, then first of all, it is necessary, in the appropriate telegrams, using bots, these coordinates send these coordinates to Ukrainian troops.

Secondly, it is necessary to temporarily move to relatives or any other address, which is not near the location of Russian troops. It is necessary to stock up on food and water for a few days for at least. To be near a safe place, to use the rule of two walls. If there is some basement, use it. And wait for Ukrainian troops.

- Speaking of Kherson region as the territory where hostilities are now taking place, which is the most difficult from a military point? This is the steppe, the plain area, which means that our armed forces will be visible on the palm of the enemy, but the enemy also gives a certain advantage. - This is a rhetorical question, because you have already answered it. It is a steppe, to see as on the hand on both sides.

Therefore, it is in the steppe that it is not easy to attack and not easy to defend. But Ukrainian troops use [the territory] very well, striking the enemy's supply ways. As I understand, almost all bridges on the left bank of the Dnieper are damaged and cannot be used to supply the enemy on the right bank of the Dnieper. It is very good news and very true actions. Now it is necessary to identify the weakest link in the defense of the enemy and that is where the main efforts on this offensive.

But, as I said, the main effort cannot be single, it is also necessary to apply an auxiliary effort in order for the enemy to quickly identify the direction of basic effort. This rule of any offensive combat is no difference, whether in the steppe or in other topographic conditions. -The 109th Regiment of the so-called "DNR" and the Russian paratroopers who had to cover it, which moved away from their positions, I understand, in fact, fled.

Is it one of the weak links that our armed forces have already been touched? - Yes, but it should be understood that the Russian military doctrine for defense consists of three components. There are three lines of defense. The first is not very powerful, it is always weak. The second is a little more powerful. And the most powerful is the third line of defense.

- What about the tactics of Russians in such situations, based on the experience of previous wars led by Russia? Is it possible to predict how Russian troops will behave further? - They will try to stop Ukrainian troops on one of these three lines of defense and go from the counter -offensive from that line. This is a very simple strategy, but the Russians have always used it. If they can't stop, the defense will be pierced.

If the Ukrainians have broken the defense, all three lines, the rest of the defense will fall. - I also want to ask you about the role of Crimea. How much did the Russians have periodically exploded and burned something in ammunition warehouses that they were delaying the equipment from there because they could not protect it, weakened their ability to defend themselves in the south? - Of course, it weakened [them].

We have heard that almost half of the Black Sea Fleet's aircraft has been damaged and it is very good. Warehouses and supply routes were also damaged, which is also good. But the most difficult blow to the Crimea was in the moral state of the Russians, because they felt and thought that Crimea was an inviolable part of Russia, but the whole world was convinced that it is Ukraine. Ukrainians were able to remove this inviolability. This is a very difficult step in the direction of moral victory.

-What can be said about the moral and psychological state of the Russian army? It is possible to say that in six months the awareness could appear in the Russian army that they were deceived. Does this affect how they behave on the front? - From the first days of this war, the moral condition of the Russian invaders was very low. Every extra day of this war only worsens the moral condition of the invaders, it is an axiom.

- How much can the liberation of the South last, given the current dynamics? I understand that there are many factors, it is difficult to make forecasts, but it is about days, weeks or long months of grueling fight? - I do not have enough information to answer this question. It depends on many things, I once said that it [military writer Carl] von Clausewitz said that the war was the kingdom of the unknown.

Why is this kingdom unknown? Because every action is opposed and it all depends on this, which will be counteracting your action, how you will respond to these options. Therefore, it is really the kingdom of the unknown, it all depends on many factors.

- If you look back, look at these six months from the beginning of a full -scale invasion of Russia in Ukraine, can it be said that the tactic of the task of point, but very aiming strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, justifies itself? Due to the fact that they have more enemies and they have more.
