Ukraine creates new mechanized brigades, waiting for the continuation of the war until 2025 - Forbes

The new military units, which are currently created in the Armed Forces, have been assigned the number of the 160 series. The Ukrainian army forms new mechanized crews. This is a sign of Ukraine in Ukraine that the war will not end in the near future, writes Forbes. As it is noted, the Militaryland resource, which monitors the military structures of Ukraine, received photos that allegedly depicted cadets from the new mechanized brigade in the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces.

New mechanized crews, which have been assigned to the 160 series, will be trained in foreign countries and will recruit many recruits from Ukrainians living in these countries. It is reported that the 160th mechanized team is trained in Poland. The creation of new crews depends on two things: successful mobilization, perhaps 10,000 or more new recruits and continuous foreign support for Ukraine's military efforts.

Ukrainian fighters are likely to be equipped with equipment provided by Western partners, depending on their places of exercise. According to the newspaper, since the fall of 2023 the Ukrainian army has formed 10 new brigades: four mechanized brigades, five infantry brigades and an Eger brigade. The infantry crews are the most "light" - they are mostly traveling. The Eger Brigade is the power of "average weight" consisting of trucks and light armored vehicles.

Mechanized brigades already go on caterpillar and wheel armored vehicles and are usually moved by a mouth in which at least 10-12 tanks. At the same time, it is unclear how many brigades of the 160th series are now forming an army and what crews will be. But if you judge by the previous stage of expansion, they can be 10, the authors suggest, that is, "by papers" of such a number of crews require 20,000 soldiers. Ten teams of soldiers will need thousands of cars.

It is estimated that in the 29 months of a full -scale war, the Allies of Ukraine allocated about 12,000 pieces of different equipment. During this time, the defense forces lost about 6,400 cars. And if the time of formation of the brigades of the previous one, the 150th series, is an indicator, it can take six or even more months before the series 160 brigades will be ready for action on the battlefield.
