"Russians have to see we are ready": Zelensky inspected fortifications in Kharkiv (photo)

In the Kharkiv region there are barriers: anti -tank ditches, concrete pyramids and "dragon teeth". During his working trip to Kharkiv region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky got acquainted and checked the process of creating defense structures and fortifications near the border with Russia. This was reported by the Presidential Office. The head of state emphasized that the Kharkiv region remains a very important area. According to him, Ukrainians should be prepared for calls.

"The Russians must see that we are ready to defend themselves," he said. Zelensky believes that Ukraine should be better prepared if the enemy tries to advance. Oleg Synigubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, said that fortifications consist of an extensive system of trenches, various armor and other types of shelters. In the region there are barriers: anti -tank ditches, concrete pyramids and "dragon teeth".

Zelensky called the priority on April 8 a priority to strengthen the air defense and EWC in Kharkiv region. The military at the rate reported on physical protection of energy objects in Kharkiv region from Russian blows and on the effectiveness of destruction of missiles and drones. Ukraine lacks aircraft, and most of all, Kharkiv, Zaporozhye and Sumy region suffers from hostile shelling.
