UAV attacked Novocherkassk DRES in the Russian Federation: two power units stopped working (video)

Officially, the Russian authorities did not announce the attack of drones, instead, the locals declared "several dozen" drones, flying in the Rostov region. On the night of March 25, the transformer substation of Novocherkasskaya DRES in the Rostov region caught fire, as a result of which two units were decommissioned. This was reported by the governor of the region Vasyl Golubev in his Telegram channel.

"Tonight at the transformer substation of Novocherkasskaya DRES there was a fire, which was promptly eliminated by the staff of the station," Vasyl Golubev said. According to him, none of the people were injured. He also noted that the causes of the ignition are established. While the fire automatically switched off two high -voltage lines of 300 kV - Tikhoretsk and Rostov. However, the energy supply was later restored. Instead, two Dress units were temporarily decommissioned.

The Russian edition of Baza, citing eyewitnesses, said the power plant had attacked unmanned aircraft. "According to preliminary data, several drones participated in the power plant at the attack. Probably the first of them tried to attack at 2:30 in the morning," the statement said. The media noted that the drones were not officially reported. At least ten explosions occurred in the Telegram channel "this Rostov". Instead, eyewitnesses saw a few tens of UAV in the region.

After the explosion in Novocherkassk, firefighters and fast cars went to the dress. "Eyewitnesses report that there was a fire in the Novocherkassk DRES," the Telegram-channel said. However, administrators, with reference to MO and NA, added that they report that "no explosions and fires" were recorded on land.
