The department emphasized that the complex of measures is aimed at counteracting possible threats, is carried out in areas around the perimeter of the southern part of the country. Particular attention is paid to work at checkpoints. In the direction of the Ukrainian border involved the personnel of the SCO.

The main purpose of such actions as stated in the department is the protection of citizens of Belarus, the intersection of violation of the state border, the exclusion of channels of supply of weapons and ammunition. Objects, including roads and other paths, are important. In their workouts, Belarusian units use UAV.

The founder of the BYPOL initiative, created by the former Belarusian security forces, opposed to Lukashenko's regime, Alexander Azarov, told the TV channel "Espresso" that the Belarusian army is constantly preparing for war, but military countries do not want to participate in hostilities in Ukraine.
