The focus correspondent visited the presentation of the Atlas 1300 project, where the layouts of the products were presented, and learned how he should strengthen the combat capability of the defense forces. The Atlas system combines the MS Azimuth Radio Intelligence Station and a "smart" LTEJ MiRage Reb. Azimuth noticed drones within 30 km by radiation signals of their onboard systems (including control channels, telemetry and data transmission).
It is also able to control the radio frequency spectrum, measure the parameters of radio frequency radiation, diaper signal sources and document the results. If you place the Azimuth network in a staggered manner, it gives the UAV triangulation and accurate bearing. Mirage, in turn, suppresses UAV, creating an "optimal interference", namely, interferes with the management at the level of the data exchange protocol.
Azimuth and Miage products are already used at the front by different units, and the ATLAS system takes their work to a new level. According to CEO Kvertus Yaroslav Filimonov, at the end of 2023, the General Staff of the Armed Forces instructed the company to create a "smart" remedy, more effective than the traditional - analogue. The analog system closes a fixed frequency range that can no longer change.
This is both the advantage, because the technology is simpler to use, it is enough to press one button and the disadvantage, because it requires high power and a lot of energy. More powerful complexes are larger and more noticeable due to stronger radiation, so the enemy can attack them. The main difference is that the "smart Reb" can generate an obstacle in a certain part of the range.
At the time of receiving the task, Kvertus had already created Azimuth station, so they decided to combine it with a "smart" Mirage Reb, which becomes much more effective in the presence of a detection system. With its help, the military learns the direction from where the drone is flying, as well as working frequencies, so you can direct it at the frequency. In addition, this approach reduces "friendly fire" on the line of combat.

If the miage "suppresses" the drone at a particular frequency, then others remain free and may be used by allies. "What happened as a result? We have come out of a very powerful complex that works in one ecosystem, works in one network.
This means that the operator can control this complex from one place of the worker, he sees and the situation in the air that flies, at what frequencies, where, where it can be. The drone moves. The Atlas network can combine hundreds or even thousands of means to create an "antitrone wall". According to KORTUS estimates to close the front line 1300 km long, it takes about 6,000 Miraage and about 300 Azimuth. This can all work in the same network with different levels of access for commanders.
"This will allow you to create continuous protection of the brigades that are adjacent, the opportunity to get information and exchange it, which will significantly enhance, significantly increase the efficiency of work," - explained Yaroslav Filimonov. Pavel Havryk, the head of the State Administration of the Special Artillery Brigade of the National Guard, presents the unit that was the first to receive the equipment within the ATLAS project.
The military complexes received about a week before the event, and full -size layouts were presented at the presentation, not real means. According to Pavel Havryk, the Russians actively develop their technologies to destroy personnel and equipment that causes them great harm. Particularly sensitive are the blows of Russian drones on the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces, which are very difficult not to restore after damage, but simply to take from the battlefield.
He is sure that Atlas will protect artillery if the stated tactical and technical characteristics are justified. "These tools have been physically received. There is a need to teach personnel because it is new tools and the latest technologies for more efficient use. After training, they will immediately be sent to the area of combat," Pavel says. As Yaroslav Filimonov shared with focus, Kvertus chose a team for several reasons.
First, it now performs tasks in a complex Pokrovsky direction, and secondly, it has very few remedies. In this way, the system will be able to be used immediately and confirm its efficiency at the Hot point. "This does not mean that the conditional SAU will put miage and Azimuth.
This means that they will choose in advance who and at what points will work, and to cover these points at other points will place such complexes to be able to work relatively safely," the company representative emphasized. Atlas can work directly on the front line, but a large radius allows you to pull it at least a kilometer. The MIRAGE reB of 300-1500 MHz operates, so it can suppress all FPV-ouzes. Kvertus has already tested the equipment that operates in the range of 1500 to 3000 MHz.
"That is, we now add an important range 2. 2-2. 7 GHz, where many interesting birds of the enemy fly. Companies. The Azimuth network, staggered, allows you to triangulate all that moves along the line of combat collision. Mirage has a smaller radius, but can work simultaneously in the dome mode and is directed (up to 8 km). Combining them, the military can respond very quickly and "to blazes" only the frequencies you need.
When the Kvertus increases the frequency range, Miraage will also be able to get the RFA's reconnaissance drones, such as Orlan or SuperCam, flying at a height of 3-5 km. The complexes may also suppress the Russian "lancers", which have become a nightmare for many troops, especially for artillerymen. They will need to test their efficiency in battle, because the occupiers also do not stand in the city and improve communication systems.
The focus was interested in Yaroslav Filimonova if the Mirage complexes to "stumble" by Russian long -range chamber and geranium drones. He reported that the Kvertus team is interesting to check it. Success depends largely on which antennas with controlled signal reception (CRPA) are installed on such drones. Reb is powerless against those flying on 16-channel CRPA, but not all of the chess are equipped with such ones, many of them have four, six, eight or twelve channels.

" Another problem with the fight against Shahaneda is that they fly in radio mode without radiating any signals, so it is impossible to understand what frequencies they use during the attack.
Kvertus plans to collect statistics from what was beaten and planted, and to understand at what frequencies it occurs and, accordingly, to influence those frequencies. It will not be easy to create an "antitrone wall" thanks to the Atlas project, as it takes not only time but also significant finances. According to Yaroslav Filimonov, Kvertus can make the required number of Azimuth and Mirage in one year.
Subsequently, Kvertus plans to increase the power of the system and make a car complex on its basis, which will be mobile and will work for a long distance. It will be a competitor of such well -known Ukrainian complexes as Bukovel and Note. While Miraage is intended primarily against FPV-oules, copter-bombers with discharges remain a difficult target for him. Another complex called Hunter offers against such threats. We have government orders for him, because he has very cool efficiency, he has double polarization, he has directed patch-antenna and gives good results. It is important for any mission to choose a solution. Not so that he bought the EW, and you want to defend himself from everything.
" According to Yaroslav, the analogue of RB with "white noise" will not go anywhere, because they will still be useful in one case or another, for example, for the protection of cars, sappers, in the evacuation of the wounded. Over time, their efficiency decreased, and manufacturers try to compensate for this increase in the capacity of the modules. As for the antennas, something is no longer come up with something new, because physics cannot be deceived.
