The location itself was created by a private company Sparrow Industries, and the construction process began in 2021. As of 2025, the project was completed by 50%, and its creation is almost 30 years.
"The purpose of the park was to ensure economic development and increase the competitiveness of the city of Lviv, the region and Ukraine in general, to strengthen business activity, to increase the level of employment of the population, to develop modern production and logistics infrastructure," the statement reads. However, this object was injured as a result of a Russian massive rocket attack on the morning of October 5.
Mayor Andriy Sadovy stated that the Sparrow Industrial Park in Lviv is a civilian object "without any militaristic component". The Ministry of Economy of May 17, 2021 stated that Sparrow Park Lviv was entered in the Register of Industrial (Industrial) Parks. Priority for the placement of economic activity was indicated by mechanical engineering and metalworking, logistics (Urban Logistics) and light industry. The object was also supposed to develop from food, processing and woodworking industries.
Also in the park planned to develop printing and those "compatible with the above". The industrial park's website states that they provide for different businesses for rent and business. In particular, there were several large locations in the territory of Business Hub up to several dozen hectares with lighting and parking. According to the media, one of the clients of business-Haba was the Polish company LPP.
This company owns a number of clothing and other products, such as Cropp, House, Sinsay, Reserved and Mohito. It is known that the composition of this company was located in the territory of "Sparrow Park" and was attacking the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on the morning of October 5. Currently, the company has not officially commented on the fire, damage or destruction of its property at the time of material publication.
From October 4 to October 5, the Russians carried out a massive-roller-tanner on the territory of Ukraine. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation used percussion UAVs, managed aircraft and missiles of different types of base. As a result of the attack, a number of regions were injured-Lviv region, Zaporozhye, Vinnytsia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Odesa and others. According to officials, energy and civil infrastructure became the objects of attack.
