Wanted to blow up railway echelons of the Armed Forces: in Kharkiv region detained a family of saboteurs

According to security officers, the defendants searched for "vulnerable" sites - railway bridges, overpasses and autotopolies under tracks. The suspects intended to disrupt the uninterrupted supply of Ukrainian weapons and ammunition to the leading eastern front. The Security Service of Ukraine detained saboteurs who wanted to blow up the railway echelons of the Armed Forces in Kharkiv. This was reported by the press service of the department on April 3.

The persons involved in the case - brother and sister worked at the municipal institution of Izium district of Kharkiv region. They were recruited in the summer of 2023. At the instructions of the curators, they had intelligent routes of the movement of echelons of the Armed Forces in the Lyman direction and to establish coordinates of relay cabinets and transformer substations "Ukrzaliznytsia".

Brother and sister were also looking for "vulnerable" sites: railway bridges, overpasses and car tracks. The received information was transmitted by his Russian curator in the form of critical infrastructure on Google Cards. Based on this information, the invaders planned to diversion on the railway line while the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces. Thus, the invaders hoped to disrupt the uninterrupted supply of Ukrainian weapons and ammunition to the leading Eastern Front.

It is noted that the Ukrainian special services exposed the defendants in time and detained them. Investigators of the SBU were informed by the defendants about suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 28 and Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code (treason, committed in martial law according to a prior conspiracy by a group of persons). The brother and sister "shines" life imprisonment with the confiscation of property.
