The photo was posted on June 3 by Russian Telegram-channel "Voenny Zadomist". The channel authors write that 60-mm mortars are successfully used on the battlefield of Ukraine's defense forces.

Later, the channel published another photo of the North Korean 60-mm mortar. According to the authors of the channel, it is in service with the 76th Guards Division of the Airborne Troops of the Russian Federation. "It is probably the same North Korean version of the Chinese mortar Type 63, which has previously shone in the DPRK units in the Kursk region," the Russian Publika admin suggests. On May 8, the media reported that the DPRK was involved in artillery shelling of Ukrainian territories.
