Due to the war in Ukraine: Defense plants in Poland are increasing production of weapons at times - the media

According to journalists, the outbreak of war in Ukraine and a sharp increase in demand forced plants in Poland to increase production to maximum level. Due to its large investment in the sphere of the defense industry, the enterprise in Poland significantly increases the volume of production of military equipment. This applies primarily to TNT, small arms and howitzers. About it reports the edition of RP. pl.

According to sources, even companies that have recently undergone modernization, seek to expand their production facilities, since it has been a moment when they are not able to fully meet the growing demand. Thus, according to the publication, two years after the opening of the łucznik factory, Radoml plans to increase the production of rifles to 100 thousand units a year, three times increasing the current production volumes.

In the production areas of the plant, the equipment is actively updated, and the construction of additional workshops has already been approved. And the company Huta Stalowa Wola, specializing in the production of heavy artillery, including the long -range self -propelled howits of Krab and automatic mortars RAK, only recently completed technological modernization, putting in it tens of millions of zlotys. However, these investments are currently insufficient.

In addition, the Remontowa Shipbuilding and PGZ shipbuilders have undergone an urgent reconstruction to lead a project for the construction of three new generations, estimated at 15 billion zlotys. Analysts have hope that these steps will help prevent the recently predicted crisis of the Navy of Poland.

In addition, the Polish company Autosan, which has previously specialized in the creation of electrical buses, switched to the production of Waran - the last multi -purpose armored car with high mobility. This machine is intended for use in an artillery intelligence, as well as in the role of a universal transport platform on the battlefield.

According to the newspaper, the beginning of the war in Ukraine and a sharp take-off of demand for explosives led to the fact that the Nitro-Chem plant in Bydgoszcz was forced to increase the production of TNT. We will remind that earlier Focus wrote that any statements of Poland about the willingness to transfer to Ukraine long-range missiles can not be taken seriously, because it personally does not have such weapons.
