The owner of the Ukrainian drug distributor "Venta LTD" supplies drugs to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, a political scientist

Share: The State Bureau of Investigation and the Office of the Prosecutor General have discovered that the Russian company JSC NPK Katren, which is one of the owners of one of the largest Ukrainian drug distributors Venta LTD, supplies medical goods and equipment to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. This was reported by political scientist Victor Taran in his post on Facebook with references to the materials of the pre-trial investigation.

"VENTA LTD LLC, being the leader in pharmaceutical distribution on the territory of Ukraine, in the period from 2008 to the present day is controlled by JSC NPK Katren, which has permanent connections among the state authorities of the Russian Federation, supplies medicines and medical goods to the Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country, and also receives profit from the activities of VENTA LTD LLC," says the court ruling.

Taran notes that against the background of these data, there are currently ongoing attempts to formally change the ownership structure of the company by rewriting it to fake Ukrainian managers. The political scientist reported that in the 3rd year of the full-scale war, the Russian owners of "Venta LTD" continue to make money on the Ukrainian drug market, where the company controls about 10% of distribution.
