According to the NSDC Secretary, the number of Russians who want to spend a vacation on the occupied peninsula is not so large, since the "information blockade" on the peninsula is periodically breaks. The number of tourists from the Russian Federation on a temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula has decreased by more than half compared to last year.

This was announced by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexey Danilov on the air of the telecommunication on August 7. Answering questions about the mood among the Russians in the Crimea on the backdrop of the explosions that were more frequent, the NSDC Secretary noted that despite the censorship, the "information blockade" on the peninsula sometimes breaks.

"I would like to point out that according to the data we have, the number of those who visit the Crimean peninsula decreased by 54% compared to last year. It says that they understand what is happening there," Alexei Danilov said. According to the official, the figures indicate that the number of Russians who want to spend a vacation on the occupied peninsula is not so great because they are aware of what is the situation there is now.

Alexei Danilov also expressed confidence that the Crimean peninsula will be released from the Russian occupation. "Crimea will definitely be ours - there will be nothing to do with the Russian Federation.
