Russian Armed Forces tanks evolve: first a metal shell, now-Reb,-Forbes (video)

In the third similar tank, which appeared in the front line in recent weeks, notable radiovings - for additional protection against drones. They are designed to block FPV radio signals. The Russian "tank-tank" is the old T-72, supplemented with an armored body for protection against drones-not the only one of its kind. Apparently, in the Russian troops, they decided to put them on a stream and improve the clumsy structure. Forbes writes about it.

The staff of the Ukrainian drone, which were published on Tuesday, depicts a tank similar to a standard T-62, T-72, T-80 or T-90. But with an antidoroleous body. It is reported that such a tank structure attacked the positions of the Armed Forces in the Krasnogorivka district of Donetsk region. In such a tank (already the third, which appeared on the front line in recent weeks), notable radio deaf - for additional protection against drones. They are designed to block FPV radio signals.

When the Russian T-72 with a complex of HRS was stopped east of Ternov in the Donetsk region, the 12th Armed Forces Brigade organized a three-day raid to steal the tank and see which system of the HRS was installed in it. Thanks to the muffins and metal body, the tank tank should be sufficiently protected from about 100 thousand FPV, which Ukraine unfolds on a monthly basis. Flands of tiny explosive robots kill dozens of Russian infantrymen daily and fail several armored vehicles.

Such tanks have serious defects. Racks that support the shells do not allow the towers to return more than a few degrees. There is a gap between the tank and the body - and the experienced drone operator will be able to fly through it. In addition, the Russian IEns do not always work well. One Russian blogger noted the poor quality of the assembly of many muffins. Directors of obstacles on the T-72, discovered by the 12th brigade, were, according to one of the fighters, handicrafts.

The muffins on the tank did not prevent the drone from detecting it. These tanks stand out on the battlefield. But about a day after the first T-72 in the metal building appeared on the front line in the area of Krasnogorivka, the FPV group found him in the hangar in Petrovsky district of Donetsk. Ukrainian artillery fired at the hangar and, apparently, destroyed the equipment, incl. and a notorious armored tank. You should not be surprised if other tanks-tanks stumbles a similar fate.
