The reserves of Ukraine are turned into parking for tanks - Yermak

The head of the Presidential Office called the saving of wildlife as one of the reasons why it is necessary to release Ukrainian land from Russian invaders faster. In the territory of Ukraine, 20 reserves were occupied by Russian troops. The protectors turn the protected lands into parking, hunting grounds and mines. This was announced on April 11 by Presidential Office Andriy Yermak.

He noted that in the corresponding natural areas of animals and plants should be protected, but Russian invaders are doing the opposite. The Russians destroy nature and cause destruction around. The saving of wildlife, Yermak called one of the reasons why the invaders should be expelled from the Ukrainian land. "Another important reason why the Ukrainian lands need to be released as soon as possible," he said.

Among the occupied zones are Jarilgach Island, Askania-Nova, Kamianskaya Sich, Kinburn Spit and others. According to the Center for Journalistic Investigations, Russian invaders can be prepared for the removal of animals from the Askania-Nova Reserve.

At the beginning of November 2022, when the invaders were preparing for the Counter -offshore of the Armed Forces in Kherson region, they looted a local zoo, and on December 17, animals were taken to the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea from the Miniso -Parking Crimea. The institution functioned at the station of young naturalists of the Kakhovka City Council on the Left Bank of Kherson region.

On the territory of the Askania-Nova Reserve, the Russian military began to ride heavy equipment by the protected steppe, as well as trenches. Military aviation flies at low altitude, causing panic in wild animals. In some cases, this even led to their death. The network subsequently posted a photo on which the Russian military was kept killed. A number of Ukrainian channels in Telegram later stated that the animals were killed in the famous Aksania-Nova Reserve.

In Telegram, the Russians stated that the animals were destroyed by the occupiers "at the forefront of defense", which is far from the reserve. We will remind, the deputy chairman of the office of President Kirill Tymoshenko on April 19 called the number of cities and villages occupied by Russian troops since February 24, 2022.
