Sending 2,000 French soldiers to Ukraine: Paris denied Russian fake

The French defense department stated that the words of the head of Russian external intelligence Sergiy Narishkin about the allegedly transferring troops from France to Ukraine are part of "mass misinformation". The French Ministry of Defense denied the statement of the director of the foreign intelligence service of the Russian Federation, Sergei Naryshkin that Paris allegedly was preparing about 2,000 people to send to Ukraine.

The corresponding statement was published on the official page of the department on the social network X. "Information transmitted by the director of Russian external intelligence Sergey Narishkin is part of the systematic use of mass misinformation widely used by Russia," the publication reads. The French Defense Ministry also called for "maximum vigilance" to avoid "the use of this kind of maneuver.
