The lightning drone was created on the basis of the analysis of the trophy UAV "Molnia". The developers sought to make an inexpensive drone, similar to Russian, but improved to modern operations. The co -founder of Vyriy Drone Alexei Babenko of the Militar portal told about it.

According to the design of the drone "Lightning" repeats the parameters of the Russian "Molnya". It can be recognized by the wooden center plan, the absence of fuselage and two pipes of the load -bearing elements, between which an explosive is installed in the nasal part. Lightning received two wings motors and fly from the pneumatic catapult. The target is done in manual mode, but it is possible to use automatic capture of the goal and completion.

The characteristics of the Dron "Lightning": Alexei Babenko noted that the actual range of "lightning" depends on the weight of the combat part. The more combat load, the less time the drone can spend in flight. Currently, lightning drones are already produced by the forces of Ukraine's defense. The price of one UAV is 35 thousand UAH. We will remind, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation began to launch in Ukraine the lancer ammunition "Lancet", equipped with a new type of antenna.
