According to Ovsyannikov, she was taken for questioning to the investigative committee and did not even call the lawyer. The woman spent the night in a detention center on Petrovka. And on Wednesday on August 11, a court took place, where Ovsyannikova was elected a preventive measure. It is accused of spreading fakes about the Russian army. If Ovsyannikov is proved, it is threatened with up to 10 years of colony.

Ovsyannikov is a Russian TV journalist and propagandist who worked as an editor of the International City Change of Cities on the First Channel. From April to July 2022 - a freelance correspondent of the German edition of Die Welt. Born on June 19, 1978 in Odessa. Mother-Russian, chemist-technologist by education, and father-Ukrainian, died in Odessa, when Ovsyannikova was five months. Ovsyannikov has two cousins ​​living in Ukraine. The propagandist has opened a criminal case under the article on "discrediting the Russian army", for which the maximum punishment of 15 years in prison is provided.
