To track and "drowned": the Russian Federation creates a compact system for hunting mini-drones of the Armed Forces

According to the Russians, the new station will be able to detect popular Dji Mini and Mavic drones. It is in the final stage of development and will be ready for autumn. Russian Holding "Roselectronics" has announced the development of a new compact radar complex, the main goal of which is to identify and "stuff" small civilian drones, RIA Novosti reports. This radar will be created and will continue to produce instrumentation at the Rybinsk plant, which is part of Roshelectronics holding.

"We started working on the creation of a module when the first prototype of the mobile radar was ready. It is now at the final stage, and by the end of the third quarter this year we plan to present a single complex that will be able to detect and oppress," - said the CEO Plant Andriy Komortsev. The factory manager claims that the new radar complex will be able to track even the most miniature civilian drones that the Armed Forces actively uses.

Similarly, the radar will be able to help in a peaceful life in protecting particularly protected areas from absorbers: for example, airports. "One of the smallest purposes we showed is a drone 16x20 centimeters, such as DJI Mini. The station is guaranteed to see and accompanies it up to 500 meters in motion and up to 250 meters in a suspended state, including in urban development," - Says Andrei Komortsev.

The Russians began to pay special attention to the protection against small drones after the active and successful attacks of Ukrainian heroes of the occupiers' positions with the help of small modified Mavic commercial drones. Our fighters equip them with a variety of explosives and are used as multiple drones-bombarders or drones-Kamikadze. For example, recently Ukrainian drones have effectively destroyed the positions of Russian troops in the Kupyansk direction.

The enemy's positions were discovered by air intelligence fighters and sent there "Mavic" birds, which easily coped with the aggressor. Mavic drones are even involved in air duels. With the help of Dji Mavic drone, the Ukrainian fighter was able to knock down the more expensive drone DJI Matrice 300 RTK Russian invaders worth $ 18,000.

Since such civilian drones can be modified very quickly under a shock drone, in the Russian Federation they will be afraid that they will be used for terrorism inside the country. Therefore, they believe that the new radar will protect civilian objects from possible terrorist attacks. Earlier, Focus said that the Ukrainian drone Sirko was launched into production.
