The expert explained that he sees certain signs that indicate the threat of city loss. Among other things, he also stopped on the peculiarities of the modern war and that motorcycles can replace tanks on the battlefield.
Hetman drew attention to the fighting around Pokrovsk and Konstantinovka, as well as Dobropillya, where the successes of the Armed Forces are recorded. In his opinion, it is in Kupyansk that the most threatening situation has developed. The main feature of the threat - the Russians are fighting right in the city. "There are bad anticipations about Kupyansk, because there, it seems to me, it will be difficult for me. There are already fighting in the city.
It seems to me that we are waiting for a certain danger and may even have to get out of this city," he said. At the same time, the hetman emphasized that even in the case of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces from Kupyansk, it is not said that the gates will open to other regions and will begin to lose other cities. Further, the settlement is troops, there is a line of defense - Ukrainian units will leave and keep new positions.
"To the west of Kupyansk there are also troops, there are positions that we had to occupy, there are already constructed fortifications. It is better to keep defense, of course. It is already fortification. But if the city is destroyed, then [what] the defense positions in a completely destroyed city," - he sounded on air. Hetman also said a few words about the breakthrough of the Russians under the Dobropillya. According to him, it was about testing the use of motorcycles on the battlefield.
The Russians broke to a depth of 7-8 km, the width of the front was 1 km, and they knew that they would not be able to deliver ammunition, and the environment was a "question of time". This means that light and fast equipment will be used in the battlefield, not tanks: such experiences are already being introduced into the Armed Forces. "I am sure that five motorcycles will be able to make more sense than one or two tanks.
Because 80% of tanks, heavy equipment are immediately affected by drones and other means. I am sure that the heavy equipment era is departing," Hetman said.
