Now tactical vulnerability in the line of defense of Ukraine may appear faster. Recently, the central group of Russian troops, apparently, has faster to throw and disperses forces in the recently captured Ukrainian territories of Donetsk region than in most other areas of combat clashes.

According to the Ukrainian military observer Konstantin Mashovts, the Russian military command tried to benefit from relatively rapid tactical advancements, sending units of two regiments of the 27th Motorized Rifle Division to the Toretsk district. The Russian command now redirects these units to achieve a tactical environment in the Pokrovsky direction.

According to American analysts, the central grouping of Russian troops may have created a flexible structure of command and management and can quickly use potential tactical vulnerability of Ukraine than other groups of Russian troops. Usually these elements were thrown only after regrouping units in the rear for recovery and replenishment.

Based on their observations, analysts conclude that a more flexible management structure was created in the Russian group. The extended area of ​​responsibility of the group extends the front, along which it operates and tries to use the vulnerability of the Armed Forces. At the same time, a more flexible control system is stored in the spring of 2024 in order to help achieve significant tactical success northwest of Avdiivka.

The Russian military command conducts consistent offensive operations throughout eastern and northeastern Ukraine, trying to stretch and weaken the defense. "But for the most part, the Russian troops did not manage to take advantage of this position and achieve significant tactical advantages or further significant operational goals," the publication reads. At the same time, the central group may have more opportunities to achieve the goal.

The flexibility of the command structure and combat capacity allows to continue operations longer, to put pressure - there may be tactical vulnerability on the front line in the Donetsk region. Then the possibilities that appeared can be used quickly - by relocation of forces in a particular area of ​​responsibility. Other groups of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have not previously demonstrated such opportunities, analysts say.
