President: Every "Today" is the best moment to press Russia stronger

Ukraine deserves the next year to become a year of peace. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this, addressing the participants of the special session of the European Parliament in connection with the thousandth day of a full -scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine. The head of state thanked for the support of Ukraine, the formulas of peace, the Ukrainian people - their stability, the ability to restore security even after the most destructive mass attacks by Russia.

"I thank you that none of the thousands of days of this terrible war has become a day of betrayal of our common European values," said Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The President urged to intensify sanctions against Russia and to do everything to finish the war honestly and fairly. He emphasized separately that now near the border with Ukraine - 11 thousand North Korean soldiers, this contingent can grow to 100 thousand.
