The passport of Ukraine abroad will only be issued to those who showed the military document - the Cabinet of Ministers

Since June 30, military service will only be able to obtain the services of SE "Document" only after ordering their own military documents. In addition, some will have to show that they have legally crossed the border. In order to obtain a passport of Ukraine abroad, or to receive other services of SE "Document", you must first show properly designed military accounting documents. The innovation introduced by the Cabinet of Ministers will be in the next six months.

Details of the decision of government officials, which will become valid since June 30, set out in a resolution published on the Government Portal. The Government portal published Resolution No. 648 of June 4, 2024. The text states that an experimental project for the provision of administrative services concerning the registration of documents is introduced in Ukraine. Among other things, it is about the passport of Ukraine abroad - its receipt, exchange, return, etc. by men, aged 18 to 60 years.

The main one of the resolution No. 648: it is also stated that it is necessary to show a document marked, which will confirm that the citizen was legally listed abroad. The start of the experimental project - from June 30, 2024. Duration - no more than six months, until the new law on the provision of administrative services abroad is adopted in the Cabinet resolution.

The new norms apply to the branches of SE "Document", which is engaged in registration, exchange, replacement of passports to citizens of Ukraine abroad, etc. At the time of publication of the article of such branches there were 12: these are "passport services" in Poland (in Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw, Gdansk), Spain (in Madrid, Valencia), Germany (in Berlin, Cologne, Munich), Czech Republic (Prague) (in Prague) , Slovakia (in Bratislava), Italy (in Milan).

What are the military accounting documents earlier, focus said that the men of conscript age, who were abroad, were able to update military accounting data by means of the Reserve+Defense Defense application. It was indicated that they could do it without visits to the territorial centers of completion and paper red tape. According to the requirement of the new Cabinet resolution, the conscripts must now bring their military accounting documents to obtain a passport.
