On the International Salon "Complex Safety" Russian Company "IRT" ("Integral robotic technologies") demonstrated its new reconnaissance drone "Their Skut". A unique feature of this drone is its body, made of foam, which allows you to run a drone from your hand. About it reports the Russian TASS agency.

The developers noted that the use of foam housing significantly reduces the cost of the product and simplifies the process of repair in the field. The Russian media emphasize that this solution makes "IRT-Skut" more accessible and convenient for use in different conditions. The drone is equipped with an electric motor, which enables it to develop speeds of up to 90 km/h. The flight range is 50 km, and the time of autonomous work is 1 hour. The useful load of the drone is only 200 grams.

Other details about new development have not yet been disclosed. According to Defense Express observers, Russian invaders are already using foam drones on the battlefield.
