"The greatest trouble": the commander told about a new tactic of using helicopters of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation

During the war, the Russians lost more than 300 military helicopters in Ukraine. Now they hide them as far from the front line so as not to hit a high -precision rocket. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation has not yet suffered critical losses of military helicopters used during the war in Ukraine. The number of Russian pilots has decreased, but they are still enough.

The details of the use of aircraft of various types by Russians were told by the crew commander of the Mi-8 helicopter with the call sign "Hutsul" in an interview with UNIAN. According to Hutsul (the name of the military is not indicated), the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, as well as the Armed Forces, use old helicopters, such as Mi-8 and Mi-24, massively. They also have newer models-Mi-28 and KA-52.

During the war, the enemy lost a significant number of these aircraft, especially many-Ka-52 "alligator". However, the officer believes that these losses are critical only for the "alligator": there are plenty of helicopters. On the other hand, the Armed Forces also neutralize Russian pilots, but they are still enough in the Russian Federation. "The human resource is huge. And this is the greatest trouble," he said. The Russian command changed the tactics of using helicopters on the front line.

These changes began in the first days of the war, the fighter said. At first, the Russians believed that they destroyed the Ukrainian air defense system and freely flew for blows at the Armed Forces. However, very quickly realized that the air defense has been present, and the enemy was beaten from the "Slygers". Therefore, the Russians began to operate differently: they work on the front lines in pairs and on separate shades of the front - in Zaporizhzhya and Donetsk regions.

"They suffered losses and made some conclusions. Now the Russians are no longer as arrogant as at the beginning," Hutsul said. Also in the first months of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces, helicopters were kept not far from the front line or on occupied parts of Ukraine - for example, in Chernobayivka, Mariupol, and Dzhanka. However, later on these sites began to beat high -precision shells, dump explosives.

Therefore, the Russians are forced to take away from these territories and moved the helicopter sites away. Now, Hutsul explained, Russian helicopters fly from afar - they are kept in a deep rear in the Crimea or near the border of the Russian Federation with occupied parts of Ukraine. As for the pilots of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, according to the Ukrainian, although there are many, but the quality of preparation is not too high.

The reason for this situation is a large number of dead middle -level crews and a constant recruitment of new ones, which have little time to study. "The level of preparation of the enemy is different. But this process of learning has been stretched for years. Preparation in war conditions is much faster.

" It should be noted that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation for almost two years of the war lost 324 military helicopters - this is reported on the portal "Ministry of Finance", where they created an infographic according to the official data of the General Staff of the Armed Forces. The last case of beating of the Russian vessel is October 16, when the Russian Mi-8 was neutralized.

In December, the OSINT investigative found out where the new air basement of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is located to hide combat helicopters. Satellite photos show that helicopter platforms on the Arabat arrow on the territory of one of the boarding schools were built for several months. Now there are 20 parking lots where aircraft were transferred from the Left Bank of Kherson region.

Meanwhile, in October, the Russians lost about two dozen helicopters that were on the sites in Berdyansk and Lugansk. The Ukrainian command confirmed that the Russian positions were reached by the US ATACMS missiles provided by the United States. We would like to remind you that on December 6, the Armed Forces fighters showed a video of a Russian helicopter near the estuary in Donetsk region. The aircraft was not destroyed, but it received serious damage, the Ukrainian military explained.
