Ukraine has terminated new agreements from the Russian Federation and Belarus: what is known about them

According to Taras Melnychuk, a representative of the Cabinet of Ministers, the decisions of the authorities will help to strengthen the control of the movement of Russian citizens in the border, as well as to isolate Belarus in connection with its support of Russian aggression against Ukraine. On Monday, April 10, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine voted for the termination of two agreements with the Russian Federation and one with the Republic of Belarus.

This was written by a representative of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk in his Telegram-channel. The first agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Russian Federation referred to the order of crossing the Ukrainian-Russian state border for residents of the border regions of the two countries. 283 people's deputies voted for termination of the document.

Melnychuk's publication states that this decision will help to strengthen the control of the movement of Russian citizens. MPs also voted in favor of the Agreement on the Coordinated Policy in determining transport tariffs. The project received 288 votes.

According to Taras Melnychuk, the decision to terminate the agreement was made in connection with the military aggression of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the territory of Ukraine, in particular the destruction of the Ukrainian transport infrastructure. In addition, 288 deputies voted to terminate the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Belarusian Government on cooperation in the field of technical protection of information.

It is reported that the initiative is aimed at further international isolation of Belarus in connection with the support of the Minsk full -scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine. We will remind that on April 10 in the Verkhovna Rada also voted for the return of allowances to servicemen in the amount of 30 thousand hryvnias. Payments will also be returned to SES and police officers.
