According to the National Resistance Center, units commanders shoot their subordinates during the performance of "official duties". In Russia, dissatisfaction among members of the army personnel is growing through the actions of their commanders, who are increasingly subordinated. This trend is noted by the National Resistance Center for Special Operations forces of the Armed Forces (CNS).

According to the Center, in the Western Military District of the Russian Armed Forces, there was an increase in cases of violence by commanders against their subordinates. In particular, numerous court sentences in the garrison military courts in cases of mass murder of servicemen are recorded in the Kursk region. There, units shoot their subordinates during the performance of "official duties".

"As a result of the last incident in early February this year, the Kursk Garrison Military Court adopted a sentence of conviction of up to 14 years of a colony of the senior ensign, who in a state of heavy alcohol intoxication was shot by the subordinates," the CNS said. By clarifying, such incidents often occur due to hostility between the parties or due to the fact that the servicemen are in a state of alcohol or drug intoxication.
