Ukrainian oil in UAE Supermarkets: Why Russians are outraged on the network and what's wrong (video)

In Russia, there was a problem with butter. He was decided to import from the UAE. However, Russians living in Dubai claim that the country is buying it, in particular, in Ukraine. Instead, some media have mistakenly reported that Ukrainian oil has already appeared in the Russian Federation. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) have exported butter to Russia since October 18. These measures are intended to contain a sharp rise in prices, which has caused consumer concern.

According to the Federal State Vetis Information System, 90 tons of this product were imported from the Emirates as of November 2. This was reported by the Russian resource Vesti. ru. At the same time, some Ukrainian publications, including the Observer and Zn. ua, mistakenly reported that Russian supermarkets already sell oil of one of the Ukrainian manufacturers. The confusion was caused by a video from TikTok, which was shot by the Russian woman who lives in the UAE.

She said that Dubai stores are sold mainly imported oil. The woman shows the oil of the Ukrainian brand "Farm". In this way, she responded to the news of imports of oil from the emirates. According to the author of the video, she does not understand how the UAE can export "its oil" to Russia, if it is actually products from Ukraine. "We buy oil, it is made in Ukraine. I do not know, here German oil is for sale, Ukrainian, what oil can we talk about here?" - the Russian woman is indignant.

TELEGRAM Channel "Trukha Ukraine" also claims that the video about Ukrainian oil was filmed not in Russia but in the UAE. It should be noted that on the packaging label the name of the brand is indicated in English. The inscription "Made in Ukraine" speaks about Ukrainian production. According to information on the company website, the official distributor of the UAE is not.

We will remind, on November 3 The Korea Herald wrote that the agreement between the DPRK and the Russian Federation on the participation of North Korean soldiers in the war against Ukraine, among other things, provides for the supply of Pyongyang 700 thousand tons of rice. In 2023, the trade between China and the Russian Federation increased to 26%. Moscow imports smartphones from Chinese retailers, such as Xiaomi and Realme, after US and European brands have left the Russian market.
