A joint statement by the leaders of Ukraine and the countries of Northern Europe and the Baltic on the occasion of the third anniversary of full -scale aggression of Russia against Ukraine
We confirm our adamant support for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. Our main priority is the strengthening of Ukraine. We will continue to strengthen our support. In order to achieve just and long peace, Ukraine and Europe must participate in any future negotiations. Ukraine must receive strong security guarantees. And Europe must demonstrate its leadership. We cooperate with all NATO members and EU members to reach peace through force.
The countries of Northern Europe and the Baltic States are one of Ukraine's largest donors. To date, Northern Europe and Baltic countries have provided Ukraine with more than 26 billion euros of military, financial and humanitarian aid. We undertake to provide more support to Ukraine, including air defense and ammunition. We are obliged to invest more in the Ukrainian defense industry. And we undertake to provide the unit with the size of the brigade.
At the same time, we urge members of the Alliance and partners to provide Ukraine with greater military support. We will continue to exert maximum pressure on Russia, in particular through sanctions and measures against the shadow fleet to limit Russia and its military machine. We emphasize that fair and long peace is impossible without Russia's responsibility for international crimes. We also emphasize our adamant support for Ukraine's integration into the European Union.
