The offensive of the Armed Forces in the Kursk Oblast: Moscow for the first time withdrew its troops from Ukraine - the media

Moscow has decided to strengthen the grouping of troops in the Kursk region, transferring the contingent from under Zaporozhye, German journalists say. The main direction of their offensive in the Donetsk region was decided not to weaken.

Due to the promotion of the Armed Forces in the Kursk Oblast, the Russian military leadership first transferred troops from the occupied territories of Zaporizhzhya region, thus deciding to strengthen the defense of the region, so as not to weaken the main direction of its offensive in Donetsk region. Currently, the most fierce battles are noted in the territory between the captured Ukrainians Sudzha and the Kursk Regional Center, as well as around the strategically important city of Korenevo. There, the Armed Forces succeeded in trying to bypass and surround the settlement from the north and south. However, compared to the first week of Ukrainian counter -offensive, the successes in this territory are now small. On the other hand, Russia continued its offensive in the Donetsk region.

Particularly active of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation near the cities of Toretsk and Pokrovsk. In the Pokrovsky direction, the Russians changed their main course and instead of going straight to the city, some forces returned to the south. Their purpose, as noted, apparently is the collapse of the entire defense line of Ukraine in the south of Donbass.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy has now attacked the positions of defense forces 79 times, having conducted more than a third of all attacks in the Pokrovsky and Kurakhiv directions. The most hot area of ​​the front remains the Pokrovsky direction. From the beginning of the day, the occupiers have already made 20 attempts to attack our defenders in the areas of Vozdvizhenka, Kalinov, Novogrodivka, Grodivka, Bird and Green Field.

Defense forces, holding back the hostile pressure, have already repelled 11 enemy attacks, nine combatants are still ongoing. It should be reminded that according to Bloomberg, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation decided not to transfer large forces from Donbass to the Kursk region, and the situation in the Donetsk region is approaching critical: the invaders are slowly moving to Pokrovsk.
