To spread: Russian Marines and paratroopers began classes on trophy fighting vehicles M2A2 Bradley and CV9040C, captured during battles in Ukraine. It is noteworthy that the enemy praised Western equipment, noting the advantages over Russian counterparts. From the beginning of a full -scale invasion, both sides of the conflict have been actively putting into operation of the trophy of the enemy, but Western technology has long served Russia as an object of trials and propaganda exhibitions.

The situation has changed after the Russian capture of several American M2A2 ODS-SA Bradley. About it writes the Polish edition of Defense24. One of the Bradley cars was put on the balance of the 155th Marine Corps of the Pacific Fleet, where the crew worked the assault of fortified positions and delivery of ammunition at the training ground. In addition, the Swedish CV9040C was at the disposal of the 83rd Guards Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

The car was evacuated from the fighting areas after artillery lesions - the damaged batteries were already replaced in the rear. The publication notes that the use of Bradley and CV9040C as the Russians pursues two tasks. The first is to study the strengths and weaknesses of the western platforms, which allows to improve the tactics of combating them. The second is to fill the losses of armored vehicles due to the repair of trophies.

The Russians probably captured at least a few BMP M2A2 Bradley, as well as one CV90; Some of the cars were destroyed or remained on the battlefield. Experts do not rule out that with the promotion of Russian troops, the number of Western BMPs in order can increase. M2A2 ODS-SA Bradley infantry fighting machine is a more advanced version of BMP Bradley. The machine has a deep "digitalization" of fire and integration management into a single information network of the armored group.

In addition, this BMP has advanced roof protection using titanium. CV9040C infantry fighting machine (Strf 9040C) is the most protected and modernized version of the Swedish BMP of the CV90 family, designed for international operations. Compared to previous modifications, it received a reinforced AMAP armored bag, which provides protection against 30 mm armor-piercing shells and mines from the lower part of the case, as well as laser filters on periscopes and a tropical air conditioning.
