"Showed understanding": Romania canceled the concert of Russian fan Putin - Netrebko singer

To spread: Ukrainian diplomats and representatives of civil society managed to achieve the abolition of the concert of Russian opera singer Anna Netrebko, who supports the Russian invasion in the Romanian city of Kluzh-Napok. The concert itself was to take place on October 6 with the Transylvani Philharmonic Orchestra, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reported.

On the same day, Anna Netrebko had to provide the title of Honorary Doctor of the George Dima National Medical Academy. "Having canceled Netrebko's speech, the Romanian side showed understanding and solidarity with Ukraine in the context of counteracting the hybrid influence of Russia through so-called" cultural and artistic measures, "the press service said.
