"Military airfields are under attack in the Moscow Region and other regions of the Russian Federation," Kovalenko wrote succinctly, without revealing details. Moreover, the "Carpet" plan was introduced at the Shaykovka airfield and at the Kaluga airport in the Kaluga region of Russia. Ukrainian military commander Andriy Tsaplienko also confirmed the explosions in Russia.

"In the Moscow region, in the area of ​​the airfield where the Tu-160, Tu-95MS and Tu-22M3 are based, the drone attack continues at the Shaykovka airfield and the Kaluga airport of the Kaluga region," the journalist noted. Although the Russian mass media are already writing about the shelling, they do not mention the name of the attacked airfield. However, there are not so many military airfields in the Moscow region - for example, "Chkalovsky" or "Kubinka".
