Priority - not to lose in Ukraine: in Lithuania they told whether the Russian Federation will open the Second Front in Europe

According to the Lithuanian defense department, the enemy has not yet been able to distribute the forces so that they are enough in Ukraine and the western borders, but the threat remains. Thus, the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense reacted to Bild's material on a possible NATO Kremlin attack. Russia has no strength to open an additional front in Europe while the war in Ukraine is ongoing. In this way, the Lithuanian Defense Ministry reacted to Bild material with the Bundeswehr's secret documents.

About it reports Delfi. According to the Lithuanian defense department, the occupiers are now setting one priority - not to lose in Ukraine, so it is difficult to assume that the Kremlin will divide priorities and start accumulating strength in other directions. Accordingly, while the war continues, the probability of the second front is minimal. At the same time, the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense noted that Russia wants to arrange a long -term increase in the western direction.

"For this purpose, plans for the expansion of infrastructure and military units have been developed, infrastructure changes, divide the areas of command," the Ministry of Defense said. In addition, Vilnius added that the assessment of the threat provided in the department had not undergone significant changes. The Kremlin retains significant capacity and constantly replenishes the force near the front line in Ukraine.

"Russia's priority is not to lose in the war with Ukraine at this time, it directs certain resources to it," the Lithuanian Defense Ministry summed up. It was a reaction to Bild material, which published secret documents of the Bundeswehr. According to the Moscow scenario described, it may announce mobilization in February to try to win the Armed Forces on the battlefield by June. If this happens, then in July 2024 will prepare for provocations in the West.

The enemy can take advantage of the moment until December, when the United States will actually remain temporarily without a leader. Already in the first months of 2025, Russian troops may enter the territory of Belarus and the Baltic countries, which will require immediate NATO interference. We will remind, on January 15 the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova responded to the article of Bild about the Kremlin's war against NATO.
