Buy for $ 2200: Russia actively replenishes its army with mercenaries from Africa - GUR

According to intelligence, Africans with Congo, Uganda, Burundi and Rwanda are most involved in the ranks of the Russian Federation. The Russian occupation army has intensified recruiting mercenaries from African countries for war against Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

"The aggressor state has significantly intensified the campaign from a recruitment of foreign mercenaries for war against Ukraine: it is about recruitment of living power in Central Africa, in particular-in Rwanda, Burundi, Congo and Uganda," the statement said. GUR was specified that the recruitment of Africans was engaged in a specially created unit of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, and after recruitment they are sent to "meat storms on Ukrainian soil".

"Merries are lured with a $ 2000 starting payment for signing the contract, promising monthly security of $ 2,200, health insurance, as well as a Russian passport for a soldier and his family members," the intelligence said. GUR also reminded that Nepal mercenaries, recruited by Moscow to the war against Ukraine, were massively deserted from the occupying army because of numerous losses and cruel attitude of Russian field commanders.
