Russia hits Ukraine with cruise missiles: Kyiv and Kharkiv under fire, the first consequences of the attack

Share: On the night of November 14, the Russian occupation forces attacked Ukraine with "shahedas" and ballistic missiles. Air danger has been declared throughout Ukraine due to the take-off of three MiG-31K aircraft, which are carriers of the Kinjal hypersonic aeroballistic missile. About a dozen powerful explosions have already been heard in Kyiv, Focus correspondents reported.

Cruise missiles were flying at the capital from different directions, and at the same time Kyiv was attacked by more than 30 "shahedis". After midnight, the Kyiv city military administration provided the first report on the consequences of the Russian attack, in particular: Mayor of Kyiv Vitaly Klitschko clarified that in the Dnipro district there are already at least two victims, one of whom was hospitalized.

At the same time, the head of the KMVA, Timur Tkachenko, noted that a fire broke out on the 5th floor of a residential building in the capital's Solomyan district as a result of the attack. In addition to Kyiv and the region, the consequences of the Russian attack were recorded in Kharkiv, where a Gerber UAV fell near a high-rise building. "We have information about the fall of a Gerber-type UAV near a high-rise building in the Saltiv district.

Fortunately, there were no casualties," wrote Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov. At the time of publication of the material, the missile-drone attack continued, mostly everything continued to fly in the direction of Kyiv. "Currently, the city of Kyiv and the Kyiv region are under massive attack by enemy missiles of various types and unmanned aerial vehicles," the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces emphasized.
