According to the source in the military department, the head of the Ministry of Defense Sergey Shoiga removed Ivanov from his post. It is worth recalling that Ivanov was detained on April 23. The Moscow Basmann Court adopted the decision on its arrest for two months due to charges of receiving bribes in a particularly large amount (Part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code).

The investigation reported that he contributed to the contractors in signing contracts from the Defense Ministry in exchange for free construction and repair work at their facilities. The official can now spend 8 to 15 years old. Ivanov himself in court refused to admit guilt in receiving bribes.
